Help Boxer keeps Trying To Escape

my 1-year-old boxer boy keeps trying to escapte every time somone opens the front door. He's been able to get out a few times and run down the street. we're worried he's eventually going to get hit by a car.

How can we stop him from wanting to do this all the time,

my guy is trying to do this alot too. I think you're best bet is to work on his commands. Come, stat etc.

A well trained dog should respect the commands, no matter what the circumstance may be --- including a door opening.

My Boxer also did the same thing but not now. Few days before I got a one female dog at my home, after the arrival of the female dog my boxer never tries to escape from front door. I feel happy now. Try it out.
