Default How Long To Fully Potty Train?

Newman seems to have his good days and his bad days. He still has accidents.... I sometimes think he just doesn't care where he goes. And i don't think he cares to hold it AT ALL.

How old was your boxer when he/she became accident free?

I want to say all of mine have been 99% trained by 6 months old . An occasional accident when I was not paying attention and they had asked to go out - they knew to ask to go out . But were able to hold it through out the night .

Peaches has only peed inside 2 times since about 6 months and both times it was likely our fault. Her only poop inside was from an upset tummy. We are very stringent with making her poop on her gravel pit.

It's' been way to many years since I had to potty train a puppy, so I can't remember. Since having Rex and had no clue how he was trained or not, he had a couple peeing accidents in the house in the beginning, but got the hang of it very soon after. He was 1 and 1/2 approximately when we got him. As far as pooping goes, it took forever, but have to take in consideration he had the colitis soooooo bad. He hasn't had an accident of any kind for 9 months I think. I know once I got the new laminate floors, there was never an accident.

GiGi's dad is on a distinguished road

GiGi is pretty well potty trained but she still has accidents through the night. If I crate her at night she does just fine but if I let her sleep with my oldest son (her favorite spot) she always pees in the hall and poops in the formal living room. She is now about 1 1/2 yrs old and I just can't get her to break the habit. I would love to be able to get rid of the crate completely.
