Both will give us a "high five" for a treat and Scout will sing on command.

Edys best trick is having the whole family wrapped around her paw.

LOL Missy.

I shoot Lucky with my pointer finger and go 'bang bang' and she rolls over and plays dead.

Really?! How did you even start to train Lucky to do that? I'm not sure mine would do anything close to that

Wally sort of taught himself to sit up--so now I'm exploiting it. He does it really well, and looks SO cute! I need to try and get a photo of him in action. His other tricks like 'the magically disappearing-(insert item here)' are not so cute--especially when it's your new DVD, or sock, or...

Yeah, playing dead is a fun one. I trained her pretty quickly, just use really tasty treats. Do the bang bang and place her on her side or back with her legs in the air and then praise and feed treats. After I'd say 5-10 times doing that they'll get it. Once you use your finger and say bang bang, the dog will just do it. I still treat her after she does it.

If anyone has Facebook... here's a video from the trainers we used with Lucky. Not really tricks, but they posted a few things that are good essentials to exercise with you dog like touch for hello, leave it and sit. This video is touch for hello.

That is a good idea. We were taught to touch, but I even forgot what the purpose was, but it wasn't for hello, LOL.... I'll have to ask my husband. Maybe it was for future training exercises.
