hello i recently joined this forum a couple days ago. i have a fawn boxer thats a year old. in april i got a brindle boxer pup now that my boxer is about 4 months old and has her shots so i have started walking her. i take them individually walking and they both do well walking by themselves. but when i walk both at the same time they get to hyper and its very hard to keep order. what can i do to calm them down?

I don't know... Stephanie is the professional dog walker here, but in my thoughts, I just think it is their age, they are both young. as to how to train, maybe the pro will know, LOL...

One trick is to be consistent. Consistent with correcting the young ones behavior and consistant for which side they walk on (saves from leach tangles)

Default walking 2

It takes patience. Lots and lots of patience. The best thing to do is when they act up, make them sit until they are calm. Then start walking again. Repeat as necessary. You might not walk as far in the beginning but you can work up the distance. They will learn the better they do, the farther they can go.

When we started walking our two together, it took both of us. We would walk them individually one day and then the next day we would walk them together. That way, we could continue to work with them individually. I can now walk both of them by myself and they are very obediant.
