Just wondering if anyone knows if boxer dogs are ever used in tracking humans like for search and rescue.

I thought i heard they were used for this once

Default

I imagine you could train a boxer to do just about anything. Their short faces do impair their sense of smell to some degree so I imagine they are not the "ideal" breed to use. Our dog training club offers tracking classes and we've seen just about every breed we can think of give it a try.
