Argh, my 10 week old boxer is horrible on the leash when we take him for walks. He just keeps pulling.

How did you guys correct this problem?

Hello, Boxerflash. Most of my dogs have taken pretty well to using a leash, but I did have a problem with Max at first. I don't have any excellent tips since I never came up with any "magic" tricks. Just stick with it, and your pup will mature and hopefully will accept the leash in time.

Hold the leash tightly, don't give him an inch of slack. After a while, he'll get the picture that pulling is uncomfortable and doesn't get any results anyway.

no dog 10 weeks should be on a choker anyway.
Give him slack and then let him go. when he pulls, he'll self correct himself and jump back.
he'll learn quickly that a slack leash means no discomfort for him.
That worked when I was training Ron...

I will also try this trick as this one is sounding really good but I do not believe to be tough for my darling. But for the sack of future benefit I will have to do this.
