Safe to teach "roll over"

Someone recently told me that it's not safe for a dog to roll on their back? is this true?

Why wouldn't it be? Keeps rolls on his back all the time, it is a totally natural behavior. Perhaps if you are worried about bloat right after a meal wouldn't be the best time to teach that command.

I'm interested to see what you find. It sure looks funny when Keeps rolls all over but I never can't imagine it's dangerous.

dogs have been rolling over for awhile now without any trouble
