Tie well walk perfectly beside me...until something more interesting comes along. At that point his manners go out the window. The only thing that really gets him excited now is seeing another dog. Over the years he's gotten better, but he still managers to lose his calm when a dog nears him

how's your boxer on a leash?

Keeps was crazy leash aggressive when we brought him home. He has gotten 100% better around people and about 60% better around dogs. His new thing is chasing bikes and small animals. He starts a class this week to help us overcome his issues even better.

Keeps also pulled like a mad man until we put a prong on him. We mixed the collar with positive reinforcement and he's like a new man!

yeah Tie loves the bikes too. His whole thing is proximity though. The closer something is the more excited he gets.

I've been very fortunate because Pete walks right beside of me. When another dog comes into view he goes on alert - I tell him to 'ignore' and he goes right back to trotting along on his walk. As he has become older his manners towards people who stop and talk to me have improved on a massive scale. He used to pull, bark, yelp, and just go plain nuts. 'Play with me! Play with me!' Now he sits or lays down when we stop to chat. He waits to go nuts only when he is invited to play. It's pretty cool. I have to say this - I am a house wife so he is with me 24/7 and is constantly receiving direction. If no one were here I'm sure it would be different.

Floyd and Honey are pretty good besides dragging me to the field if they know thats where they are headed. It can be a bit much sometimes.

Dex is great until he sees another dog and its as if a bomb goes off inside his head and he goes very ridgid!

Default Lady Miss does well

I live in a very small town and Lady Miss doesn't see very many other dogs but when she does she would rather stay close to me.

I spent the first evening with Lady Miss walking her. We walked for 2 hours. I did the dog whisperer thing. I walked and invited Lady to walk with me. She had no choice. Before the evening was over she was super.

Last night we went out without the leash. She walked beside me like I had an invisible leash. It was great.

I can officially say Keepers has stopped pulling. I was using a spron harness on him for a while, then got lazy because it was a pain to put on, and starting walking him on his regular collar. Something finally clicked and he stopped pulling! Odd because I almost gave up the training and was just using harnesses that made it impossible for him to pull. My dad can even walk him now, something he couldn't do before because of the pulling.
