Man, he can go a few days in a row with being a good boy and doing his business outside, then bam...2 craps in the house.

how long does it normaly take for a boxer to finally get it?

Some pups are house trained within a matter of weeks; others take much longer. This is something acheived by diligence and patience.

you have to make sure that you're taking him out often enough. I heard somewhere a pup can hold it an hour for every month of their life. So a two month old boxer should be able to hold it for 2 hours.

not sure how true this is though hahah

Hi, Luther. Some dogs do seem to take longer to learn. Try to be patient with him. It might help to keep a log for a couple days about what time you take him out and what time he has an accident in the house. Maybe you'll see that he needs to go outside more often you thought.

Just an update, he's been a perfect boy the last few days.

We took your advice and increased the times we took him out which seems to be enough.

thanks gang

Well just be patience and give more time to him. Seems to me that you pup is really aggressive but this kind of pup really great to have.
