Havin bad experience with my boxer
To remove this ad please Register I got my boxer when he was about 4 months old (now he's 11 months) and since the day we brought him home he's been scared to go outside. I gotta force him out and then stand there while he goes potty. And even if I do stand out there he runs to the door about 2 or 3 times then after saying hurry up go potty 10 million times he finally goes. He won't stay outside like a normal dog and explore. If I go outside with him to try to play all he does is run around and knock my kids over. It's starting to look like it was a big mistake to get him =( I don't know what to do. I know he is a puppy still. I have never had a dog that has acted this way. He is driving me crazy someone help!

How about a behaviorist? That seems like a really odd issue for a dog to have, maybe he has some underlying fear issues that should be dealt with.

Sounds odd maybe you should just practice with him coaxing him outside with food and the like until he forgets?

sounds odd for sure. I would suggest you make the "going outside" experience as pleasant as possible.
