Default Boxer Behavior With Visitors

Do any of you find that your boys and girls tend to treat you as if you are invisible when people are over to visit? I just don't get it. When it's just me and my husband he can't get enough of us but the moment that someone comes over to visit us he is all about them. If I get down right in his line of sight its as if he can see right through me. And he suddenly becomes deaf to boot.
Just wondering if this is a normal Boxer trait.

Maggie is 9 months old, and I've almost stopped inviting people over until she can calm down some. She is all over them. The only people she seems to kinda behave with is someone else who is dominent; then she kinda listens. I take it from what I'm reading, its hard to stop?

yeah it is hard to stop, but the more people you have coming in and out the better. Don't make such an exciting time when someone comes in the house. Try and get your guests to ignore her when they come in.
