How long did it training to potty train your boxer?

When i adopted Tie he was already 3-year-old so i was able to avoided the poo poo on the floor phase. But when i lived with my brother after university and he got his boxer from a breeder, it seemed to take FOREVER for lennox to finally get it.

how long did it take your boxer to be fully house trained. I mean going outside all the time..no papers or anyting like that.

It took Boo about 7 months to be really predictable. Around 6 months I really thought she would NEVER get it and I would have the one dog who could not be potty trained.

Lady Miss is 5 mos. old and has been at my house almost three weeks so she didn't get any potty training until late.

She is beginning to get it, but I feel like I am the one being potty trained. As long as I recognize her "signs" and make regular trips outdoors, we avoid the accidents.

We are now making it through the night. I moved the crate to our bedroom. That's all it took to awaken to a clean and dry crate. That also cut out all the bedtime whining.

Guess I was treating my little girl like an animal rather than a boxer.

She has forgiven me.

ahhhh i hate this i really dont know what to do
she does whatever she wants and i try to train her not to
it doesnt work
can someone explain me a good way to potty train her?

you have to be consistent with her. Make sure she's going outside ever 30-45 minutes during the day, and IMMEDIATELY after playing and eating.

Don't worry, she'll get it eventually

All of mine have been a bit different but they were all 100% trained by about 6 months. Now having said that my 2 females had a bit of a happy peeing issue when they met new people , this lasted until they were between 12-18 months . Charlotte really only did the happy pee when she saw my brother , and Edy did it with most new people she met .

Boo does/did submissive peeing. She hasn't done it since the summer though, so maybe she's over it. She was about 15 months the last time she peed and that was only because it was the first time our trainer came to the house when we weren't home and she was a bit nervous and unsure.
