You may have a rough couple nights. When we brought the pups home and crate trained them, the rules were NEVER let them out when they are cying. they have to be quiet first or you will teach them that if they cry for 2 hrs you'll open the door. LOL, it's not funny actually! We also either put a chair by their crate, or laid on the floor next to it, but we got the dog used to sleeping in the crate (where we wanted the crate) and then we gradually moved away until they slept in their crate all night. That took about 3 days with Poppy because Daisys crate is close. But when we brought Daisy home I think it was a good week or two. We also like to give a comfy stuffie and turn the radio on low. Trust me, you'll get beyond sleep deprivation and it will be worth it. This only lasts a short time if you are persisitent!
